About the Practice

Many online hormone clinics follow a one-size-fits-all approach — a quick intake, a standard protocol, and a prescription. Beacon is built differently. Every patient receives a comprehensive evaluation of symptoms, health history, and in-depth lab work before any treatment is recommended. We look at metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, thyroid function, and hormone levels together — not in isolation. Hormone therapy is offered only when clinically appropriate, not as a default. And lifestyle changes are always foundational, because no prescription fixes what daily habits create.

Beacon Hormone & Wellness is a telehealth-based hormone and lifestyle medicine practice serving adults throughout Washington State. We focus on identifying root causes of symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, low energy, and hormone imbalance — using personalized, evidence-based care rather than rushed visits or one-size-fits-all solutions.

Longer, unhurried visits. Root-cause, lifestyle-focused care. Telehealth convenience without sacrificing depth. This practice was built around compassion, integrity, and purpose — not volume. We're not a "pill mill" that puts everyone on the same protocol. The goal is to help you truly heal, not just manage symptoms indefinitely.

No. Beacon Hormone & Wellness is a specialty telehealth practice focused on metabolic health, hormone balance, and cardiometabolic prevention. We encourage patients to maintain a relationship with a local primary care provider for urgent concerns, acute illnesses, and broader medical needs outside our specialty focus.

No — we don't offer quick-fix or crash dieting programs. Weight changes often reflect deeper metabolic or hormonal imbalances. Our focus is improving physiology first — supporting insulin sensitivity, hormone balance, and metabolic health — so weight regulation becomes more sustainable over time.

Who We Help & What We Treat

This practice is ideal for adults who feel exhausted or stuck, have been told their labs are "normal" but still feel unwell, want a thoughtful personalized approach to hormone and metabolic health, and are motivated to improve through lifestyle changes — not just medications.

It may not be the right fit if you need 24/7 on-demand care, want medication without evaluation, need urgent or emergency services, or strongly prefer in-person visits.

Yes. We work with both men and women, commonly addressing low testosterone, perimenopause-related symptoms, fatigue and low energy, weight gain and metabolic concerns, and brain fog or poor sleep.

  • Insulin resistance and prediabetes
  • Type 2 diabetes (lifestyle-centered management)
  • Weight gain and metabolic dysfunction
  • Perimenopause and menopause support
  • Low testosterone in men
  • Thyroid care
  • Persistent fatigue related to metabolic or hormonal imbalance
  • Cardiometabolic risk assessment and prevention

Our goal is to improve how you feel now while also protecting your long-term health.

Cardiometabolic health screening looks at your risk for conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and metabolic disease — often years before symptoms develop. Evaluation may include advanced lipid testing, insulin and glucose markers, inflammatory lab markers, blood pressure assessment, and CAC scoring or carotid ultrasound when appropriate. We believe prevention should be proactive, not reactive.

Treatment & Medications

Yes. Hormone therapy can often be safely and effectively managed via telemedicine, depending on your medical history, symptoms, and lab results. All care is provided in accordance with Washington State regulations and clinical best practices.

When appropriate, yes — including hormone therapy or other medications based on clinical need. We emphasize lifestyle-first care and aim to minimize unnecessary medications whenever possible.

When clinically appropriate, GLP-1 medications may be considered as part of a comprehensive, individualized metabolic treatment plan after thorough evaluation and lab work. We prefer FDA-approved GLP-1 medications for their consistency and safety data, and that's where we start for most patients — always alongside the nutrition, resistance training, and lifestyle foundation that protect muscle and sustain results. Where individualized dosing is genuinely needed, a reputable compounding pharmacy can have a role, decided together with your safety as the priority. GLP-1s are one tool, not a standalone solution. Yes — but with a conversation first. Some patients come in having researched specific tests they'd like run, and I'm always glad to hear what you're thinking. But lab testing is guided by clinical judgment, not just a request list: some tests add real insight, others add cost without changing anything. For custom or expanded panels beyond my standard evaluation, I ask that we start with a consultation so I can understand your goals and recommend testing that actually serves them. You're responsible for the cost of any labs you choose to run, specialized panels can get expensive, and a small ordering fee applies — so it's worth making sure each test earns its place. If what you're really after is broad, self-directed lab testing without a clinical evaluation, direct-to-consumer services like Function Health, Vitals Vault, or Superpower offer comprehensive panels at a set price — a reasonable option for data on your own terms. Some of these include automated or AI-generated interpretations of your results. But if you want someone to sort through the noise, tell you what actually matters for your situation, and connect it to your symptoms and history, that's exactly what the $175 consultation is for.

Pricing, Insurance & Membership

No. Beacon Hormone & Wellness is a cash-pay practice. This allows for longer visits, more personalized care, and freedom from insurance-driven limitations. Your comprehensive lab panel is included in your evaluation price, so there is no separate lab bill and no insurance runaround on testing. Medications can often be filled through your insurance pharmacy benefit. See full pricing details →

Our $350 comprehensive evaluation includes your full lab panel plus a 60-minute visit to review the results and build your personalized roadmap — there is no separate lab bill. If you'd rather meet first, or already have recent labs you want interpreted, a $175 initial consultation is also available. Ongoing care is optional through a $135/month membership covering follow-up visits, lab tracking, prescription management, and secure messaging. Medications are billed separately.

Your comprehensive lab panel is included in the $350 evaluation — no separate lab bill. Medications, imaging (CAC scans, ultrasounds), supplements, and any additional specialized testing recommended based on your results are billed separately, and always discussed with you before anything is ordered. All results are reviewed together in detail so you understand your numbers and your risk profile.

After your initial comprehensive visit, patients enroll in a monthly membership that includes ongoing follow-up visits as needed, secure messaging between visits, detailed lab interpretation and plan adjustments, continued guidance and accountability, and ongoing hormone and cardiometabolic monitoring.

Yes — there are no long-term contracts. The goal is to help you as long as needed, not lock you in. Please provide 30 days' written notice to cancel your membership.

Visits & Logistics

This varies based on your individual needs. Most patients start with an initial evaluation, have more frequent follow-ups early on, then transition to less frequent visits once stable and well-managed.

Secure messaging is available for non-urgent questions and follow-up needs. Messages are typically answered within one business day.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Payment in full is required at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice — initial visit fees are fully refundable or transferable when changes are made within that window. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice are non-refundable.

We currently serve patients located in Washington State only. You must be physically present in Washington at the time of your telehealth visit.

That's completely fine — you don't need a primary care provider to work with us. Many patients come to us without one. We do encourage having a local provider for acute illnesses, emergencies, and general medical needs outside our specialty focus, since we're not a primary or urgent care practice — but it's never a requirement to become a patient here, and we're always happy to collaborate with other providers when you do have them.

You can book an initial consultation directly through our website using the "Book Now" button. If you're unsure whether this practice is the right fit, you're welcome to review our services or reach out by phone or email with any questions.
